GetResponse lets you plan a budget: €16, €54 and €62 a month at 1,000 contacts. ActiveCampaign is the choice when automation depth outweighs a published price, and you are willing to build a quote before you can compare.

Published price versus calculated price
GetResponse displays a monthly figure per contact tier; the figures we recorded were shown in euros at the 1,000-contact tier. ActiveCampaign's page names four tiers but computes the amount from a contact-count selector, and no number was displayed to us. We record the tiers as usage-based plans with no price rather than inventing one.
Users per tier
GetResponse: three users on Starter, five on Marketer and Creator, unlimited on Enterprise. ActiveCampaign: one user on Starter and Plus, three on Pro, five on Enterprise. A three-person team is on the third tier at ActiveCampaign and the first at GetResponse.
